I am pleased to welcome you to another edition of our newsletter.   The months ahead promise an exciting mix of academic, research, alumni, and institutional activities, reflecting the many ways in which the IIT Bombay community continues to learn, collaborate, and create impact.

 

The coming months will also see a series of alumni reunions, offering our alumni an opportunity to return to campus, reconnect with their batchmates, and renew the bonds they formed at IIT Bombay. I encourage you to take a look at the upcoming reunions and make time to reconnect with your alma mater and your friends.

 

The spirit of giving back remains an integral part of our alumni community. The continued generosity of our alumni enables IIT Bombay to strengthen research, create new opportunities for students, and build an institution ready for the challenges of the future. I remain deeply grateful for this enduring commitment to the Institute.

 

We are also delighted to celebrate the achievements of our alumni, including Distinguished Alumnus Prof. Umesh V. Waghmare, who has been appointed Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. His achievement is a source of great pride and reflects the contributions IIT Bombay alumni continue to make across science, technology, and public life.

 

Our partnerships with industry continue to create new opportunities for innovation and collaboration. Recent engagements with the Groww Foundation and KPIT highlight the value of working together to support young innovators and strengthen professional development.
