IIT Bombay (together with IIT Gandhinagar) to Host Inter-IIT Sports Meet In Winter 2023

The Inter IIT Sports Meet has remained a prestigious annual sports tournament for the Indian Institutes of Technology, embodying athletic excellence and camaraderie since 1961. IIT Bombay had the honour of hosting the Golden Jubilee edition in 2014, a memorable event embellished by the legendary presence of cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

With this inspirational historical backdrop, IIT Bombay is excited to announce the hosting of the 56th Inter IIT Sports Meet in 2023, continuing the tradition of sporting grandeur. IITB will host Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, and Weightlifting on campus.

Eureka! IIT Bombay’s Entrepreneur Competition

IIT Bombay is hosting the 26th edition of Eureka! – Asia’s largest business model competition – for all the budding entrepreneurs with great business ideas.

Eureka! is a competition where ideas are celebrated, nurtured, and transformed into successful businesses. From seasoned entrepreneurs to someone beginning their Startup dream, Eureka! is the perfect launchpad for their entrepreneurial journey.

The best student entrepreneur from Eureka! 2023 will not only win accolades and cash prizes but also secure a coveted sponsored trip to Princeton University, USA. The trip will also qualify them for the finals of TigerLaunch, the prestigious global entrepreneurship competition.

Golden Jubilee Reunion Class of 1973 M.Sc ( Chemistry)

IIT Bombay will host the HSBC Green Hydrogen Workshop on campus.  

HSBC’s commitment to promoting sustainable and low-carbon energy aligns with the Institute’s goal of driving innovation and accelerating the deployment of Green Hydrogen technologies in the country. An important component of the program involves

Silver Jubilee Reunion Class of 1998

IIT Bombay will celebrate the Silver Jubilee Reunion Class of 1998 (SJRU 1998) in December. Sunita Sanghi Centre of Aging and Neurodegenerative Diseases – SCAN Annual Symposium

IIT Bombay will host the SCAN Annual Symposium on “Recent Trends in Neurodegeneration” on campus in January 2024.

The symposium will focus on the challenges and recent developments in neurodegenerative disorders from the perspective of basic scientists, clinicians, and epidemiologists, and aim to further collaborations. The symposium will host several sessions on various aspects of neurodegenerative disease research, including clinical diagnostics, artificial intelligence, assistive devices, and biomarkers. The symposium hopes to significantly advance the overall understanding of neurodegenerative diseases.
