To continue efforts towards inclusivity and women empowerment, providing high-quality infrastructure for female students is essential. The Institute recognises the instrumental role that hostel life plays in a student’s overall well-being and development, fostering peer learning, growth, and mutual support. Aligned with this vision, the Institute is on a mission to revamp its existing hostel infrastructure as well as build additional state-of the-art boarding and lodging facilities for the increasing number of women students.

Coal India Limited has supported the enhancement of the hostel infrastructure on campus by funding an ultra modern hostel exclusively for women students, named Hostel 21. This facility will house 370 of the nation’s brightest female students and will feature top-notch amenities, including a sports area, study rooms, a café, a music and dance lounge, and lecture halls.
