Hearty congratulations to Team iGEM IIT Bombay, which has secured a silver medal in the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition 2025, held in Paris, France! The competition is the world’s premier synthetic biology event, bringing together over 400 teams from leading global universities to showcase innovative solutions to real-world problems.

IITB Students Participate in Winter School, TU Wien, Austria

Ten students from IIT Bombay participated in the Winter School 2025, hosted by TU Wien, Austria. The theme for the session was “ESG in Practice: India Meets Austria”.  The programme offered an enriching learning experience through lectures, site visits, and interactive sessions focused on smart technologies, workplace management, digital transformation, IoT, AI-based safety systems, and green energy solutions. As part of the industry immersion, students visited the IBM Innovation Hub and VERBUND, Austria’s leading electricity utility and one of Europe’s largest hydropower producers.
