This year, the BPCL Innovation Award has highlighted projects that exemplify our commitment to excellence and innovation in energy storage solutions.
Mr. Bachu Sravan Kumar (former PhD student and current post-doc at MIT), Ms. Anagha Pradeep (former PhD student and now Battery Scientist at Reliance), and Prof. Amartya Mukhopadhyay have been honoured with the BPCL Innovation Award for their groundbreaking work in developing a high-performance P2-structured ‘Layered’ Sodium Transition Metal Oxide-based Cathode for Na-ion Batteries.
Additionally, Ms. Rashmi Tripathi (former PhD student and current post-doc at Carl Zeiss AG), Ms. Vaishali Chauhan (PhD student), Prof. Amartya Mukhopadhyay, and Prof. Rajiv O Dusane were awarded the BPCL Innovation Award for their innovative development of Silicon nanostructures on Copper for use as an anode in Li-ion batteries.
