IIT Bombay has been honoured with the prestigious National Intellectual Property Award in the category of Top Indian Organisation for Design Patent Applications. The award was accepted by Prof. Upendra Bhandarkar, Associate Dean of Research & Development, on behalf of IIT Bombay, and was presented by the Honourable Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, Justice Pratibha Singh, and Prof. Unnat Pandit, Controller General of Indian Patents, Designs, and Trademarks.
