IIT Bombay marked a significant milestone in student infrastructure development with the ground-breaking ceremony of hostel buildings 12E and 14D, located adjacent to the existing 12D Wing. Hostel 12E, comprising 341 rooms, and Hostel 14D, comprising 162 rooms, will add 18,896 square metres of built-up area to the campus infrastructure. The new hostels are thoughtfully designed to provide modern, comfortable, and well-equipped accommodation, aiming to enrich the residential experience for students.
