Prof. Subhasis Chaudhuri, Director, IIT Bombay, joined students from the Institute in a transformative initiative – Japan’s SAKURA SCIENCE Indian University Program 2023 (SSP), hosted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). Prof. Chaudhuri also attended the SSP graduation ceremony.

The SSP initiative, designed to foster innovation, facilitates the deepening of scientific knowledge among participants, encouraging vibrant exchanges of ideas and perspectives within a diverse, multinational environment, thereby nurturing the next generation of aspiring scientists.

As part of his Japan trip, Prof. Chaudhuri also attended the second Japan-India Universities Forum hosted by JST.
