IIT Bombay signed an MoU with the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra, towards promoting knowledge exchange, enhancing skill development, and fostering innovation in the field of education and research.
The MoU is designed to benefit students, faculty, and researchers from government and government-aided DTE institutes in Maharashtra.
Prof. Milind Atrey, Dean R&D, IIT Bombay, and Dr. Vinod Mohitkar, Director, Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, were present for the MoU signing. Both of them were excited at the possibilities that lay ahead including the potential to revolutionize the landscape of education and research in the state.
Dr. Anil Nandgaonkar, DTE, and Prof. Rajesh Zele, IIT Bombay, will be the key coordinators for this collaborative activity.
This MoU marks a significant milestone in IIT Bombay’s pursuit of academic excellence and innovation in institutes affiliated with DTE. The Institute is delighted to foster an environment conducive to the holistic growth of students, faculty, and researchers.
