IIT Bombay and the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, co-hosted the 10th Steering Committee Meeting of the Southeast and South Asia and Taiwan Universities (SATU) Presidents’ Forum on campus.

Prof. Subhasis Chaudhuri, Director of IIT Bombay, and other Institute officials attended the forum, alongside representatives from the Steering Committee’s 11 universities across 7 member countries.

The afternoon session featured two keynote speeches:

• The first, delivered by Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary, DST, Govt. of India, focused on Towards Building Indian S&T Ecosystem: DST’s Initiatives
• The second, by Prof. Mohd. Fadhil Md Din, Director, UTM, Malaysia, centred on Challenges and Strategy in Sustainability & Green Campus Agenda

Participants also engaged in a lab visit, showcasing cutting-edge facilities at IIT Bombay, fostering networking and idea exchange among attendees from various universities.
