Convocation Ceremony of IIT Bombay–Washington University in St. Louis’s Joint EMBA Programme

Graduates of India’s first and only joint Executive MBA degree programme, offered by IIT Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis (WashU), came together in St. Louis, USA, for their convocation. In a glittering ceremony, 45 graduates received their EMBA degrees. Designed for working professionals and entrepreneurs, the EMBA programme equips leaders to navigate change and drive strategic transformation in a rapidly evolving world.

Prof. Shireesh Kedare, Director, IIT Bombay, and Prof. Ravindra Gudi, Dean ACR, attended the convocation ceremony and wished the newest cohort of EMBA graduates the very best for the future.

Prof. Kedare and Prof. Gudi also met with Dean Michael Mazzeo and the leadership team at WashU, and explored impactful collaborations and future opportunities, reinforcing the shared commitment of both world-class institutions to advance research, innovation, and academic exchange.

The visit also included a special evening marking the last teaching day of the EMBA Batch, graciously hosted by Dean Mazzeo at his home. Prof. Kedare, Prof. Gudi, Prof. Dinesh Sharma, Prof. Markus Baer, and Prof. Anjan Thakor joined in celebrating this important milestone with the graduating class. The gathering was filled with warmth, reflection, and inspiration, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter as the cohort approached graduation.
