Lumina – Lighting Her Path was launched during IIT Bombay’s Annual US Roadshow in October 2025. Lumina is more than just a network; it’s a vibrant and supportive community for generations of IITB women. Inspired by the word ‘alumni,’ Lumina’s mission is to illuminate pathways for connection and growth by amplifying voices, celebrating success, and inspiring future generations through a legacy of shared wisdom. The initiative focuses on creating a platform for women alumni to share life experiences, provide mentorship, and conduct networking events & workshops. Lumina is being spearheaded by IITB alumnus, Mr. Anil Kshirsagar (B.Tech., Mechanical Engineering, 1975), to honour his late aunt to ensure that every woman who is part of the IITB community feels seen, supported, and inspired.
