Project

Few initiatives in IIT Bombay’s history have reflected the power of alumni collaboration quite like Project Evergreen—a landmark effort bringing together vision, generosity, and a deep commitment to the student experience. This alumni-led, alumni-built, and alumni-delivered world-class hostel complex, supported by corporates and well-wishers, provides students with modern living spaces that enhance their campus experience.

This new complex will offer approximately 850 rooms, including a mix of single and double occupancy, to house around 1,130 students. It features essential amenities such as a dining room, canteen/café, study room, and guest rooms. Additionally, there are shared facilities like mini-gyms, tech rooms, and laundry rooms for Hostels 7 and 8, with separate amenities provided for Hostel 21.
