WEBINAR: ANRF-PAIR

ANRF–PAIR, IIT Bombay, conducted an online webinar titled SARAL AI: Transforming Research Papers into Professional Video Presentations with AI. Over 160 participants attended the webinar, which included faculty members, students, PhD scholars, and industry professionals. IIT Bombay’s Prof. Vikram M. Gadre shared insights on the ANRF–PAIR initiative and demonstrated the use of SARAL AI, while IIT Hyderabad’s Prof. Ponnurangam Kumaraguru introduced SARAL AI and delivered a live demonstration that highlighted its potential in research communication and academic outreach.

MASTERCLASS: Dr. Viral Acharya

IIT Bombay was delighted to welcome back Distinguished Alumnus Dr. Viral Acharya (B.Tech., Computer Science and Engineering, 1995), C.V. Starr Professor of Economics at NYU Stern School of Business and former Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, for a masterclass at the Motilal Oswal Centre for Capital Markets (MOCCM).

The session drew a full house of students from across disciplines. From the shifting dynamics of the Dollar’s “Good Friend Premium” to India’s macro positioning, from the rise of gold as a safe haven to the risks of AI and its impact on labour markets, the discussion kept the audience deeply engaged. The masterclass concluded with a rapid-fire round and an interactive exchange with students.
