Infrastructure – Academic and Non-Academic
IIT Bombay’s ambitious 2030 vision of being amongst the best institutes globally necessitates an upgradation of the Institute’s core infrastructure. The Institute needs to rapidly upgrade, renovate and or refurbish academic infrastructure on campus. These include launching new Centres of Excellence, equipping laboratories with state-of-the-art technology, and upgrading existing classrooms, lecture halls, and seminar rooms across campus.
As student enrolment rises every year and faculty hiring is on the increase – additional student and faculty housing is crucial to the growth and success of the Institute. The Institute needs more recreational activity centres for its residential community including student activity and wellness centres, cafeterias, open-air theatres, etc. Join IIT Bombay’s quest to provide a better quality of life to its campus community so that they can be more creative, inspired, and resolve some of the greatest challenges facing our nation and mankind.
