Back then, Amreen attended the very prestigious 72nd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Physiology and Medicine held in June 2023. The Lindau Nobel Laureates recognized Amreen for her groundbreaking work in developing novel materials with the potential to revolutionize cancer treatment and wound healing.

Amreen, who is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow under Prof. Rohit Srivastava, BSBE, has received the “Best Oral Presentation Award” from the American Chemical Society at the international conference on ‘Current Advances in Drug Design and Translational Science: CADDTS-2025,’ organized during 26-28 February 2025 by ACS BIO and MED CHEM.

Her award-winning research revealed new findings in the field of peptides including:

–  Findings related to peptide and lipidopeptides synthesis and structural optimization, enhancing therapeutic potential and bioactivity.
–  Explained a complete workflow from computational peptide design to in vitro assays assessing activity, stability, and receptor specificity.
–  Validity of peptide efficacy through in vivo studies, targeted drug delivery, and disease-specific therapeutic outcomes.
–  Highlighted the development of peptide-based delivery systems for effective disease targeting.
–  Bridged the disciplines of synthetic chemistry, biology, and drug delivery, emphasizing real-world clinical relevance.

Amreen’s Presentation was recognized for its scientific rigor, innovation, and translational impact in the field of peptide therapeutics.
