IIT Bombay has joined forces with Waaree Energies Limited to advance research and development in solar perovskite technology, a key area in the future of clean energy.

This collaboration will establish an advanced Fabrication and Characterization setup for high-efficiency perovskite solar cells, enabling IIT Bombay students and researchers to work at the cutting edge of solar innovation. The initiative aims to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists, especially those passionate about solar power and clean energy solutions.

Perovskite solar cells are seen as a breakthrough in solar technology, offering remarkable light absorption and efficiency. The new setup at IIT Bombay will provide a sophisticated research platform for students to explore and develop innovative solutions in renewable energy, contributing to India’s global leadership in solar technology.
