Dr. Parag Vyas, Adjunct Professor at IDC School of Design and alumnus of IDC (M.Des. and PhD), has been honoured with the prestigious Golden Ratio Awards 2025. The award, co-presented by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Karnavati University, Gujarat, were presented at a ceremony held at the Unitedworld Institute of Design, Karnavati University, Gandhinagar campus.

This year, the Golden Ratio Awards recognized 10 outstanding design studios and their visionary founders who are pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation across diverse fields—from sustainability to branding. These studios are shaping the future of Indian design while setting global standards.

Grau Bär Design Studio, founded by Dr. Parag Vyas and based in Indore, has made significant contributions through its innovative work in Product Design, Jewellery Design, and Manufacturing Technology. The studio is renowned for its unique fusion of traditional craftsmanship, creativity, and contemporary innovation. Dr. Vyas, a dedicated educator and design thinker, has been instrumental in redefining product and modern jewellery design in India. Under his leadership, Grau Bär has emerged as a symbol of excellence and pioneering experimentation.

The awards were presented by a distinguished panel, including Dr. Pradyumna Vyas (IDC alumnus and former Director, National Institute of Design; President-Elect, World Design Organization), Prof. Dhiraj Kumar, Ritesh Hada, Dr. K.K. Singh, and key representatives from CII.
