Celebrating Teacher’s Day
IIT Bombay will celebrate Teacher’s Day on campus in early September.
Prof. Arunava Majumdar, Dean, Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, the Jay Precourt Professor, and Professor of Mechanical Engineering, will be the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The event will see the conferring of several prestigious awards to the academic community including:
-The IIT Bombay International Award for Excellence in Research Engineering and Technology (instituted by Mr. Sandeep Naik and Mr. Shantanu Rastogi)
-The Prof. S. P. Sukhatme Awards for Excellence in Teaching
-The Dr. P. K. Patwardhan Technology Development Award 2022
-Institute Academic Prizes to students
