Groww Foundation

IIT Bombay has partnered with the Groww Foundation to accelerate deep-tech innovation and strengthen India’s translational research ecosystem. This collaboration is focused on engineering students and creating a comprehensive pathway for student innovators to transform breakthrough ideas into real-world solutions. At its heart will be the Groww Innovation Space located at the Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship (DSSE). It will spearhead activities, including an annual Grand Challenge, sponsorships for POC implementations by budding entrepreneurs to tackle critical problems across social sectors, leveraging the latest technologies (including but not limited to AI). Over three years, up to 15 student-faculty teams will receive sustained funding and mentorship. Nearly 400 teams over four years will build, test, and refine prototype-level solutions with faculty guidance as part of their entrepreneurship journey.
