IIT Bombay and Evonik Catalysts India Strengthen Research Collaboration

IIT Bombay’s Department of Chemical Engineering has expanded its Postgraduate Research Lab with the addition of a state-of-the-art fluorescence microscope, made possible through the generous support of Evonik Catalysts India Pvt. Ltd. under the Grow Beyond Yourself initiative. The advanced microscope will equip postgraduate students and researchers with enhanced capabilities for particle tracking, sample analysis, and innovative experimentation, opening up new avenues for scientific discovery and technological development within the department.

IIT Bombay and BP signed an MoU towards facilitating deeper knowledge exchange and cooperation between the two entities. The MoU was signed by Prof. Sachin Patwardhan, Dean, Research and Development, IIT Bombay, and Mr. Mahesh Natarajan, Senior Vice President, Fuels and Low Carbon Technology, BP.
