SINE, IIT Bombay, Celebrates World Entrepreneurs’ Day
SINE, IIT Bombay, celebrated World Entrepreneurs’ Day 2026 by bringing together founders, investors, corporates, institutions, and ecosystem partners for an evening of conversations, collaborations, and connections around building and scaling innovation. A key highlight was the SINE–EXIM Bank MoU signing for the EXIM Bank–SINE Seed Fund Programme, creating new pathways for innovative startups to access capital and growth opportunities. The event featured insights from Prof. Shireesh Kedare, Director, IIT Bombay, and Mr. Tarun Sharma, DMD, EXIM Bank, followed by conversations on CSR partnerships, semiconductor innovation, and meaningful startup–corporate collaboration.

Interestingly, IIT Bombay emerged as the highest-ranked Indian institution at 22nd globally, with 756 founders and 590 companies in PitchBook’s 2026 list of the top 100 universities for entrepreneurs.
