IIT Bombay Inaugurates WITC on Campus

IIT Bombay formally inaugurated the Wadhwani Innovation and Translation Centre (WITC) on campus, marking an important milestone in advancing translational research and biomedical innovation in India. Several Institute dignitaries attended the inauguration. Dr. Shirshendu Mukherjee, Wadhwani Innovation Network (WIN), shared the vision behind WITC and highlighted the role of the Wadhwani Innovation Network in enabling innovation ecosystems that accelerate the translation of research into real-world impact. The inauguration was followed by the opening of आरोग्य Next: Reimagining the Therapeutic Playbook, where Mr. Sanjay Singh of Gennova Biopharmaceuticals delivered the keynote address, setting the stage for rich discussions on the future of next-generation therapeutics in India.
