It serves as a space where members of the community can share their expertise, experiences, and ideas with a wider audience.
As the next edition takes shape, the IIT Bombay Heritage Foundation is inviting contributions from the broader IIT Bombay community. Whether you have a professional perspective to share, a research insight to highlight, a personal journey to reflect upon, or a story that can inspire others, this is an opportunity to contribute to a publication that celebrates the voices and experiences of the IIT Bombay ecosystem. If your idea does not fit neatly into one of these themes, the editorial team would still be happy to consider submissions that bring a unique perspective or sit at the intersection of disciplines.
Who Can Contribute?
The call for contributions is open to IIT Bombay alumni, faculty, researchers, students, industry professionals, and friends of the IIT Bombay community. Contributors are encouraged to share professional insights, research highlights, founder journeys, personal experiences, and thought leadership pieces.
Why Contribute?
Selected articles will be published in the IIT Bombay Greater New York Magazine, distributed digitally to over 9,000 IIT Bombay alumni across the United States, and may be featured in a special print edition tied to the Director’s visit to New York.
Submission Process
Authors may submit a completed draft or share a brief description of their proposed article idea. The editorial team will work with selected contributors to refine submissions for publication while preserving the author’s original voice and perspective.

Submission deadline: August 31, 2026
Recommended article length: Up to 2,000 words
Format: Word document or Google Doc preferred
Images: Please include relevant photographs, illustrations, charts, or visuals if available
Author details: Please include a short bio, headshot, current role, affiliation, and any context or accomplishments you would like readers to know
A note on originality and AI tools
You are welcome to use tools such as ChatGPT or other AI platforms for brainstorming, outlining, or refining your writing. However, the originality of the idea, perspective, argument, and lived experience must come from you.
