Deloitte India launches the Quantum Centre of Disruption for Enterprises (QCoDE) at Aspire – IIT Bombay Research Foundation

Positioning the Centre as a bridge between cutting-edge research and industry adoption, Deloitte India noted, “With the launch of QCode, the Quantum Center of Disruption for Enterprises, we are creating an ecosystem where organisations can move beyond exploration to real-world application, helping them de-risk their quantum journey and unlock new possibilities. In collaboration with IIT Bombay and supported by global startups and alliances, QCode brings together deep research and industry expertise to solve complex challenges across material discovery, optimisation, quantum and AI algorithms, and quantum-safe cryptography. IIT Bombay to Collaborate with KPIT Technologies Limited on Fellowship Programmes, Research and Consultancy Projects

IIT Bombay has signed a collaboration agreement with KPIT Technologies Limited. The agreement covers fellowship programmes as well as research and consultancy projects in the area of mobility and other mutually agreed domains. This collaboration aims to strengthen industry–academia engagement and support innovation through joint initiatives. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. Kishor Patil, CEO, KPIT Technologies, and Prof. Shireesh Kedare, Director, IIT Bombay, along with other dignitaries from the Institute and KPIT Technologies.

IIT Bombay Signs License Agreement with Ainwesha Engineering for
Debris-Removal Technology

IIT Bombay and Ainwesha Engineering & Project Ltd. signed a License Agreement for the commercialisation and deployment of IIT Bombay’s technology, “A System To Remove Floating Debris In Open Water Channels”. The agreement was signed by Prof. Sachin C Patwardhan, Dean (R&D), IIT Bombay, and Mr. Ram Khubchandani, Director, Ainwesha Engineering & Project Ltd. Prof. V. Jothiprakash, Department of Civil Engineering, with his team, has developed the system for removing floating debris in an open water channel. This innovation will address the significant problem of floating debris in open water channels that severely disrupts water flow, harms aquatic ecosystems, and poses economic as well as public health challenges.
