Ms. Shweta Bhandari is currently a Senior Director at Circle Internet Financial.

After her B.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from IIT Bombay in 2002, Ms. Bhandari received her MS in Materials Science and Engineering from UT Austin and her MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

As the Senior Director of Treasury Capital Markets Risk at Circle, Ms. Bhandari leads risk initiatives for capital markets offerings. Ms. Bhandari has over 15 years of experience in financial services, leading risk and regulatory initiatives. She is passionate about building more open financial services platforms and capital markets products for businesses and consumers around the world. Before joining Circle in 2021, Ms. Bhandari worked extensively in risk management, analytics, software engineering, and systems design for Wall Street banks namely Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JP Morgan.

Recalling her memories from her time at IIT Bombay, Ms. Bhandari says, “My fondest memory is the time spent with the friends I made at IIT Bombay. Throughout my personal and professional endeavours, someone from IITB has been my critic and mentor.”

Her hobbies include reading and debating.
