Ms. Shalini Govil Pai is currently the General Manager for Android TV at Google. She obtained her BTech degree from IIT Bombay in 1990 and MS from Penn State in 1992 in Computer Science.

Ms. Pai was previously the Sr. Director at YouTube (Google) where she headed technology solutions globally for all YouTube creators. Prior to that, she was founder and lead Product Manager on Google TV and on AdWords. Prior to joining Google, Ms. Pai was the Technical Director at Pixar Animation, where she led technical efforts for block-buster films ‘A Bug’s Life’ and ‘Toy Story’, first fully-animated movie.

Ms. Pai has authored two internationally published books in Computer Graphics – Principles of Computer Graphics and Learning Computer Graphics, published in 2005 and 1998 respectively. Both the books have been accepted at college-level classes. She has a patent in TV search to her credit. She has been awarded with the Google OC Award for innovation in product on Google TV by the Google Founders for top-ranking  innovative projects.
