Ms. Parul Gupta was the institute alumni secretary in 2001-02 and organized the first ever extended (3-day) Silver Jubilee Reunion (SJRU) celebrations for the 1976 batch. During a short Californian stint for graduate studies, she was a part of the IITB Southern California chapter Executive Committee and helped organize a pan-IIT picnic and a special screening of IITB alum Jagmohan Mundhra’s movie, Bawandar. She has been one of the first and often lone champion for H10 HATS. She is currently busy organizing the first ever Decennial Reunion of an alumni batch and identifying a suitable legacy project for her batch.

Recently, she was appointed to the Executive Board of IIT Bombay Alumni Association. She is also on the editorial team of Fundamatics (alumni quarterly magazine).

Ms. Gupta was the co-founder of Ngopost.org and recipient of the Foundation of Youth Social Entrepreneurship’s fellowship for 100 change-makers under 30yrs in the Asia-Pacific region. She is currently working on buzzword compliant projects on Cloud Computing, Analytics and renewable energy for IBM Research.
