Dr. Manoj Aggarwal

Dr. Manoj Aggarwal received his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1995. He obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois during 1995-2001.

Dr. Aggarwal founded Mamigo Inc. in 2007 and he has since been leading the firm as its CEO/President, with world-class technical operations in Princeton and Bangalore with a team of 20 engineers. Mamigo develops video-based technologies for sports and surveillance applications. Earlier, he has worked at Sarnoff Corporation as a Technical Manager (2001-07).

Dr. Aggarwal is a recipient of the Ross J. Martin award for his outstanding research achievement as a graduate student in the College of Engineering at University of Illinois. He has invented and commercialized Video Flashlight technology for wide-area surveillance with other Sarnoff colleagues, and led several multi-million dollar government and commercial programmes in aerial and ground video surveillance. Besides being the key inventor of iris bio-metric technologies, Dr. Aggarwal has invented and built several next generation light-field cameras.

Dr. Aggarwal has about ten patents and 20 peer-reviewed publications to his credit in broad area of video surveillance.
