Mr. Amit Gupta is currently an AVP, Data Management Team, at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Club Pvt Ltd. After his B.Tech. from IIT Bombay in 2002 in Chemical Engineering, he received his MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines, in 2009.

While he has many memories from his time at his alma mater he recalls two of them vividly. The first one was watching special offbeat cinema screenings in the IDC auditorium. He says, “It opened up a new world of cinema for me.” Another memory is of the only sport he ever picked up at IIT Bombay – Squash. “I was introduced to the game by my wing mate and it is still the only game I pursue. During my recent visit to the Institute, I went around the campus and was happy to see that the squash court was still being used actively.”

His hobbies include hiking mountains whenever he can find the time and reading books.
