Cekura, founded by IIT Bombay alumni Mr. Sidhant Kabra (B.Tech., Mechanical Engineering, 2021), Mr. Shashij Gupta (B.Tech., Computer Science Engineering, 2020), and Mr. Tarush Agarwal (B.Tech., Computer Science Engineering, 2021), has raised $2.4 million in funding to transform how enterprises build and manage AI-powered conversations. The startup offers an advanced testing and observability platform that pushes voice and chat AI agents through thousands of simulated edge cases, catching potential failures before they reach customers.
Already trusted by major players in healthcare, BFSI, and retail, Cekura ensures that AI interactions remain reliable and secure even in the most demanding environments. With this new funding, the team plans to strengthen their scenario-generation engine, expand their enterprise reach, and raise the overall quality bar for AI-driven conversations worldwide.

IIT Bombay Alumni-led Eeki Raises $7 Million to Revolutionize Climate-Resilient Farming

Founded by IIT Bombay alumni Mr. Abhay Singh (B.Tech., Materials Science, 2013) and Mr. Amit Kumar (Dual Degree, Materials Science, 2014), agritech startup Eeki has secured $7 million in funding from Sixth Sense Ventures to accelerate its mission of building a climate-resilient, sustainable food system. Headquartered in Kota, Rajasthan, Eeki specializes in IoT-powered, climate-controlled aeroponic chambers that use nutrient-rich mist to grow pesticide-free vegetables, even on non-arable land, while drastically reducing water usage.
The new funding will support Eeki’s nationwide expansion and strengthen its R&D efforts. With over $10 million raised in the past year, Eeki is rapidly emerging as a leader in precision agriculture, aiming to make nutritious, affordable produce accessible to all while addressing pressing challenges like soil degradation and water scarcity.
