IIT Bombay alumni, Mr. Soham Ganatra (B.Tech., Computer Science Engineering, 2017) and Mr. Karan Vaidya (B.Tech., Computer Science Engineering, 2017), co-founders of the San Francisco–based Composio, have secured $25 million in Series A funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. Their startup is pioneering agentic AI—systems that execute tasks, and learn and evolve with every use. Unlike conventional AI that stays static, Composio’s technology builds experience over time, unlocking powerful new possibilities for enterprise automation. This latest funding will accelerate their mission to develop a robust learning infrastructure and reshape how intelligent systems grow.

IIT Bombay alumnus, Mr. Amardeep Singh (B.Tech. + M.Tech. Dual Degree, Aerospace Engineering, 2008), has raised Rs. 13 crore to scale up his startup Armory for its AI-powered counter-drone systems. Designed to protect India’s borders, Armory’s flagship Samaritan OS uses advanced AI to detect and neutralise rogue drones. With primary clients including the Indian Army and paramilitary forces, the company is now focused on accelerating development and expanding into commercial markets.
