IIT Bombay Racing has celebrated a standout season in 2023-24, marked by impressive performances and significant milestones. The team’s achievements began with a triumphant victory at Formula Bharat, setting the stage for their debut at Formula Student Austria held at the iconic Red Bull Ring this summer. As the only Indian team to compete in all the dynamic events at the competition, IIT Bombay Racing excelled, securing 16th place in Skidpad and 20th in Autocross. Their participation was not only a testament to their skill but also an opportunity to gain invaluable insights and experience.

Building on this success, the team participated for the second year in Formula Student AI at the Silverstone Circuit in the UK. Their performance was marked by notable improvements, with the team achieving 5th place in Business Plan Presentation, Engineering Design, and Simulation Development. They also secured an impressive 9th place overall in the FS-AI Dynamic Driving Test (DDT), showcasing their advancement in the FS Driverless segment. IIT Bombay is delighted to be the only Indian university represented in this innovative field.
