IIT Bombay Racing Crowned Double Champions at Formula Student Portugal 2026

IIT Bombay Racing placed 1st overall in the EV category at Formula Student Portugal 2026, while IIT Bombay Racing Driverless secured 1st place overall in the Driverless Cup, delivering a landmark performance that established the teams among the world’s leading Formula Student competitors.

IIT Bombay Recognises Montanuniversität Leoben’s (MUL’s) Support for IIT Bombay’s Racing Team

IIT Bombay’s Office of International Relations is deeply grateful for the support extended by its key partner, Montanuniversität Leoben (MUL), Austria, to the IIT Bombay Racing Team during their preparations for the Formula Student competitions in Switzerland and Portugal. As one of IIT Bombay’s key strategic international partners, Montanuniversität Leoben graciously hosted the Institute’s student team in Leoben for three weeks, providing them with the facilities and environment needed to assemble, test, and fine-tune their electric race car before the international competitions.

IIT Bombay Hosts International Summer School 2026

IIT Bombay’s Office of International Relations successfully hosted the International Summer School 2026 and welcomed over 68 students from 21 countries and 27+ universities, making it one of the most diverse editions of the programme. Participants came from Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, the Netherlands, Oman, the Philippines, Russia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom and Vietnam. The one-week programme offered international students an opportunity to learn from IIT Bombay faculty, interact with peers from across the world, and experience the vibrant academic and cultural environment of the Institute.
