Mr. Amit Shiwalkar is a Fellow at Nikon in the Digital Cinema Division.
Mr. Shiwalkar holds a B.tech. in Electrical Engineering and a M.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering. His professional expertise lies in image sensor technology, optoelectronics, and low power analogue design.
Hobbies: Sailing, surfing, mountain biking, and watercolour painting.
Special Memories
He has fond memories of his first year PAF Locomotivations (H8-H9), which was a full-scale production on roller skates in the Convocation Hall. He was part of the production team that designed the on and off ramps for the skaters. He also has pleasant memories of Prof. Rakesh Lal’s open book Analogue Devices course exams that were held late in the evening.
