The IIT Bombay Heritage Foundation formally launched the South Florida Alumni Chapter during the recent visit of the IIT Bombay delegation, bringing together alumni from across the region to celebrate a new beginning grounded in shared history and a strong sense of belonging. The enthusiastic gathering spanned more than five decades of graduates, from the Class of 1970 to the Class of 2025, reflecting the strength, diversity, and enduring spirit of the IIT Bombay alumni community. Prof. Shireesh Kedare, Director, IIT Bombay, and Prof. Upendra Bhandarkar, Dean, Alumni and Corporate Relations, joined the celebration and shared updates on the Institute’s continued growth, priorities, and future direction.
