IIT Bombay hosted a dialogue on emerging technologies shaping a Viksit Bharat at the US Consulate in New York. The meeting brought together global leaders and academia to reflect on a critical priority for India: building deep research capabilities in frontier and strategic technologies and advancing tech sovereignty in critical domains. Discussions underscored the importance of translating research into real-world impact and the role the Institute can play in strengthening these capabilities. The gathering also acknowledged the key roles played by the Indian diaspora in accelerating this journey through partnerships, knowledge exchange, and long-term ecosystem building.
