IIT Bombay Signs Mou With Paragise Pvt. Ltd.

IIT Bombay has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Paragise Pvt. Ltd., which operates UniversityTech.io, a knowledge transfer concierge platform dedicated to accelerating the commercialization of university research. The MoU was signed by Prof. Sachin Patwardhan, Dean (R&D), IIT Bombay, and Mr. Parag Agarwal, Director, Paragise Pvt. Ltd. Through this collaboration, UniversityTech.io will facilitate the promotion, marketing, and transfer of IIT Bombay’s technologies and intellectual property portfolio to industry partners, bridging the gap between academia and industry.

TIH, IIT Bombay Signs MoU with Bajaj Electricals

The TIH Foundation at IIT Bombay has entered into an MoU with Bajaj Electricals for IoT & IoE to jointly advance the development of smart lighting technologies through the “Smart Streetlight Control” project. By combining Bajaj’s long-standing experience in implementing large-scale lighting infrastructure with TIH’s research capabilities in electronics, communication networks, and AI/ML, the partnership aims to build intelligent, energy-conscious lighting systems that contribute to India’s Smart City initiatives and broader national missions, including Digital India and Make in India. In its initial phase, the collaboration will concentrate on designing an AI-driven lighting platform that improves energy management, system performance, and operational reliability.
