Addressing India’s energy challenges head-on, the Centre of Excellence in Oil, Gas and Energy (CoEOGE) at IIT Bombay unites seven leading PSUs with academia to power the nation’s future:

Launched in 2019 under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, the Centre bridges government, industry, and academia to solve real-world challenges in oil, gas, and energy.

CoEOGE drives collaborative research, training, and technology development across refinery operations, upstream exploration, biofuels, water management, pipelines, and sustainability, ensuring ideas move from labs to large-scale adoption by PSUs.
