Dear Alumni,
Please accept my warm greetings from your alma mater!
As I share this final message with you as the Dean of Alumni and Corporate Relations, I find myself reflecting on a chapter filled with learning, warmth, and deep connections. It has been a privilege to engage with our remarkable alumni community, and your support has been a constant source of inspiration throughout my tenure. I am delighted to welcome Prof. Upendra Bhandarkar as the new Dean ACR, and I am confident that with your continued support, he will take our shared mission even further.
While the office welcomes this new chapter of leadership, the Institute itself continues to achieve remarkable milestones on the global stage. IIT Bombay has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic and research excellence with outstanding results in the latest global and national rankings. In the QS World University Rankings 2026, the Institute has been ranked second in India and 129th worldwide. You can read more in the Legacy of Excellence section in the newsletter.
