The Ministry of Education released the 9^th edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Institute Rankings 2024. The results were announced by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Education, Government of India, Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan.

IIT Bombay ranked 3^rd in the Overall category.

The Institute also placed 1^st in the Innovation category and came 3^rd in Engineering, 4^th in Research Institutions, and 10^th in Management.

The Institute also ranked high across several parameters including:

–  Perception (PER): 89.32/100
–  Teaching, Learning, Resources (TLR): 83.85/100
–  Graduation Outcomes (GO): 83.36/100
–  Research and Professional Practices (RPC): 82.35/100
–  Outreach and Inclusivity (OI): 59.05/100
