FedExALFA (FedEx Centre for Advanced Logistics and Analytics) was launched at IIT Bombay with a generous grant from FedEx Express. IIT Bombay alumnus, Mr. Raj Subramaniam, President and CEO of FedEx Corporation, inaugurated the Centre in December 2023. The Centre aims to conduct research in the domains of logistics and supply chains, training students in these domains, addressing challenges faced by these industries, and incubating novel ideas.
Vision:
FedExALFA will focus on reducing costs and enhancing operational efficiency using advanced quantitative models and solution technologies in supply chain network design and planning.
Mission: FedExALFA (FedEx Centre for Advanced Logistics and Analytics) at IIT Bombay aims to:
