IIT Bombay is gearing up to host the 3rd edition of its highly anticipated Annual CSR Conclave on June 14, 2024. The theme of this year’s Conclave is “Unlocking CSR for Impactful Research.” The event promises to be a dynamic platform for thought leaders, innovators, and industry experts to converge and explore the transformative potential of collaborative innovation. It will leverage the power of CSR and corporate philanthropy to fuel research endeavours and technology breakthroughs that benefit both society and the nation.
Joining the Conclave this year will be IITB’s Distinguished Alumnus and Chief Guest, Mr. Adil Zainulbhai (B.Tech., Mechanical Engineering, 1977), Chairman, Capacity Building Commission, Government of India (established in 2021 to enhance the Indian Civil Service). He previously chaired the Quality Council of India and retired as Chairman of McKinsey India in 2014, after 34 years with the firm. Mr. Zainulbhai has worked with major global CEOs, co-edited the bestselling book ‘Reimagining India,’ serves on the boards of Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro, Network18, Cipla, and the Piramal Foundation, and chairs the Board of Governors at IIT Ropar. His insights are sure to enrich discussions and inspire innovative approaches to CSR partnerships.
