IIT Bombay signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), marking a pivotal development in renewable energy research. The MoU focuses on harnessing advancements in Photovoltaic Technology through IIT Bombay’s Photovoltaic Technology and Innovation Centre (PoTIC).

This new alliance aims to develop cutting-edge Renewable Energy Management Solutions, combining AGEL’s industry expertise with IIT Bombay’s academic and research capabilities in photovoltaic technology. The collaboration was celebrated by both the PoTIC and the National Centre for Photovoltaic Research and Education (NCPRE) teams at IIT Bombay, acknowledging AGEL’s commitment to advancing renewable energy solutions.

The partnership is expected to drive significant innovation and sustainability in the renewable energy sector, leveraging both IIT Bombay’s research prowess and AGEL’s practical industry experience to address critical energy challenges.
