Dr. Ganesh Natarajan

Dr. Ganesh Natarajan obtained his PhD degree from the School of Management, IIT Bombay in 2005. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, postgraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, PhD in Knowledge Management, Advanced Management from Harvard Business School.

Dr. Natarajan is the Chairman of SF World Ltd./ Global Talent Track Ltd., Chairman of NASSCOM Foundation and President of HBS Club of India. He has successfully led two public listed companies – APTECH in 1991-2001 and zensar Technologies in 2001-2016. Dr. Natarajan has set up a meta start-up, SF World, that invests in digital companies, start-ups and social enterprises. In the social sector, he is the Chairman of Social Venture Partners and Pune City Connect (PCC) which is helping build Smart City Pune.

Prof. Viral V. Acharya

Prof. Viral V. Acharya is the CV Starr Professor of Economics at the Department of Finance at New York University Stern School of Business and has assumed charge of Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India on January 23, 2017. Prof. Acharya obtained his BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1995. Subsequently, he took his PhD in Finance from the New York University Stern School of Business in 2001.nn 

Prof. Subodh G. Mhaisalkar

Prof. Subodh G. Mhaisalkar is the Tan Chin Tuan Centennial Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering and Executive Director, Energy Research Institute Nanyang Technological University (NTU) ( HYPERLINK “mailto: ERI@N” ERI@N) – a pan-University multidisciplinary research institute for innovative energy solutions, Singapore.nnProf. Mhaisalkar obtained his BTech degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1984, his MS degree in Ceramic Engineering and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Ohio State University in 1987 and 1990 respectively. His main areas of research comprise perovskite solar cells, light emitting diodes and printable electronics. Common to all these projects are methods of solution processing of semiconductors, fundamental device physics studies and device integration. Prof. Mhaisalkar is also a founder of a startupin energy harvesting and storage.nn 

Ms. Shalini Govil Pai

Ms. Shalini Govil Pai is currently the General Manager for Android TV at Google. She obtained her BTech degree from IIT Bombay in 1990 and MS from Penn State in 1992 in Computer Science.nn 

Mr. Rameshwar Kumar Maini

Mr. Rameshwar Kumar Maini is the President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Zentech Technical Services Inc. of Houston, Texas, USA.nnMr. Maini earned his BTech degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1967 and Masters Degree in Applied Science (MASC) from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada in 1968. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas, USA.nnMr. Maini is one of the founding partners of Zentech Technical Services Inc and has served as its President for more than 40 years. Under his guidance and leadership, Zentech has participated in many innovative projects around the world. The company provides innovative engineering solutions and employs a professional staff of over 160 in seven international locations.

Mr. Nitesh Tiwari

Mr. Nitesh Tiwari is a film writer and director. He obtained his Btech degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1996. After graduating from IIT Bombay, he worked very briefly with a leading software firm before taking the plunge into the world of advertising – all for the love of writing, which he discovered during his stay at IIT Bombay campus.nnHis 18 years of experience in advertising includes four years at FCB ULKA, three years at Lowe Lintas and 11 years at Leo Burnett. Before taking writing/ direction as a full-time career, he was the Chief Creative Officer at Leo Burnett, Mumbai. Apart from creating many memorable and award winning add campaigns, he has also co-written and directed three fulllength feature films: Chillar Party, Bhoothnath Returns and Dangal. He has also co-written two other feature films: Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi.

Mr. Jayant Damodar Patil

Mr. Jayant Damodar Patil is the Director and Senior Executive Vice President (Defence Business), Larsen and Turbo Limited (LandT). He obtained his MTech degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1978 and BE degree from the Nagpur University in1976.nnMr.Patil has a rich nearly four-decade long career in LandT, and has been instrumental in developing the nascent Technology and Product Development Group of LandT’s corporate RandD with a focus on top-end inter-disciplinary Product Development. During the first decade of his career, Mr. Patil was a memeber of a core team that designed and developed super heavy rotating industrial machinaery systems for cement, chemical, fertilizer and mineral processing plants.

Dr. T. V. Raman

Dr. T.V. Raman earned his MSc degree in Mathematics from IIT Bombay in 1989 and PhD degree from Cornell University in 1994. His PhD thesis was awarded the ACM Doctoral Dissertation Award in 1994.

Dr. Raman has over 25 years of leadership experience in advanced technology development. After his graduation, he joined Cornell as a Mathematician who intended to apply his mathematics background to the field of Robotics and Computer Vision. While doing his Computer Science coursework, he discovered the potential presented by the combination of speech technology and richly-structured electronic documents. He then started building a system that used textto-speech (TTS) to render such content. This led to Audio System for Technical Readings (ASTER).

Dr. Kishore Seendripu

Dr. Kishore Seendripu currently is the CEO, President, and Chairman of the Board of Maxlinear, Inc. Dr. Seendripu obtained his BTech degree in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from IIT Bombay in 1990 (awarded Institute Silver Medal), MS in Materials Science Engineering from U.C. Berkeley in 1992, MBA from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania in 2003 and PhD degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from U.C. Berkeley in 1996.nnAfter graduating from IIT Bombay in 1990, Dr. Seendripu joined U.C. Berkeley as a graduate student. During his studies from 1990 to 1996, he worked as a graduate research assistant at the Lawrence Berkeley Livermore National Laboratories and the Electronics Research Laboratories in Berkeley, California. Vice Admiral Gurtej Singh Pabby, PVSM, AVSM, VSM

Admiral Gurtej Singh Pabby is presently the Chief of Materiel of the Indian Navy based at Naval Headquarters in New Delhi. He spearheads the Strategic Guidance, Apex Policy level Decision making and Future Acquisition Plan of Warships and equipment of the Indian Navy. He graduated from NIT (Erstwhile REC) Kurukshetra in 1980 and did his post-graduation in System and Control Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1987.nnAdmiral has steered many challenging professional issues and has left lasting footprints with his clear thought process and telescopic vision. He was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral in 2009 and was appointed as the Chief Staff Officer (Technical) at Western Naval Command. Thereafter, he took on as Admiral Superintendent, Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam, where he provided Technical Leadership in early completion of refits of ships and submarines. As Director General Naval Projects at Mumbai, he oversaw the creation of major repair and Marine infrastructure. As a Controller of Warship Production and Acquisition, he has steered large indigenization projects of warship and submarine construction.
