Dr. Nagesh Palepu (known as P. Nageswara Rao to fellow IITians) received his M.Sc. in Chemistry from IIT Bombay in 1972. Later, he obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Iowa.nn 

Dr. Jayant Sabnis received his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1975 and Ph.D. from Syracuse University in 1981.nnStarting his career in Propulsion Systems Gas Dynamics in the 80’s, Dr. Sabnis made significant contributions in the development and application of computational analyses for multi-phase reacting flows in solid and liquid rocket motors. The analytical capability developed during these research programmes was used in the failure analyses and design improvements in the Space Shuttle Main Engine, the Solid Rocket Motor as well as a few other solid rockets.nn 

Dr. Daniel M. Dias is a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1976. Later, he obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, Houston, Texas, in 1978 and 1981, respectively.nn 

Mr. Suresh V. Shenoy is a Founder member and President of WHEELS Global Foundation. He was Executive Vice President of Information Management Consultants (IMC), Inc., a McLean, Virginia, based systems integration and consulting company. Prior to joining IMC, Mr. Shenoy owned and operated businesses in Massachusetts. He has traveled widely across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. Apart from traveling, Mr. Shenoy enjoys Golf, Swimming, Tennis, Badminton, Table-tennis, hiking, Cross-country skiing and Photography as well.nn

Dr. M. Natarajan has a B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Chennai and M.Tech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Engineering Design from IIT Mumbai.nn 

Dr. Yogen Dalal obtained his B.Tech. degree from the Dept. of Electrical Engineering (IITB) in the year 1972 and completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford.nnDr. Yogen Dalal’s successful entrepreneurial and operating experience coupled with leading – edge engineering expertise makes him enormously valuable as a venture capitalist and as a leader of Mayfield. He brings his broad talents to a wide range of primarily early – stage investments in the enterprise software and infrastructure arenas.

Mr. Ramesh Vangal obtained his B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engg. in the year 1977. He completed his MBA from the London Business School in 1979 and became the first Asian to be awarded the school’s “Alumni of the Year” honor in 1996.nnMr. Vangal is currently the Founder and Chief Executive of Scandent Group – a leading innovator in providing technology-enabled solutions and services to a wide array of Corporate and govt. clients around the word. 

Mr. Prashant Ranade completed his B.Tech. in Mechanical engg. in the year 1975. Thereafter, he obtained his MS degree from Univ. of Cincinnati, in 1977 and MBA from Xavier University, USA in 1982nnDr. Sheel Kant Sharma did his M.Sc. in Physics in 1971 and his Ph.D. in high Energy Physics in 1974.nn 

Prof. Gautam Barua is a professor and former Director of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. He is also a Mentor Director of Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Guwahati. Prof. Barua was involved in the establishment of IIT Guwahati since 1995 and took the Institute to newer heights during his tenure as the Director of the Institute from 2003-13.nn
