Rajesh Mashruwala (Raj) is an Executive Vice President at TIBCO Software Inc., a leading provider of real-time infrastructure software for the Internet and enterprise. TIBCO Software founded in 1997, did its initial public offering in July of 1999 (TIBX). Since founding of TIBCO Software, Raj is responsible for worldwide engineering, marketing, acquisitions and field operations.nnRaj holds Master of Science (Engineering) from University of California, Berkeley (1976) and Bachelor of Technology (Mechanical) from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (1975). He holds several patents on Object Oriented Modeling for Manufacturing Systems.

Dinesh Mohan completed his M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from University of Delaware followed by Ph.D and M.S. is Bioengineering from the University of Michigan (1972 – 1975)nnDuring the period 1967 – 1975 he did various assistantships at the University of Delaware and the University of Michigan. From 1976 to 1978 Prof. Dinesh Mohan was senior Bioengineer Research Department, Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, Washington D.C. Responsibilities included development and management of research projects of biological and biomechanical nature and evaluation of U.S. Governments motor-vehicle manufacturers standards, concerning safety.

Avinash Manudhane (Avi Nash) completed his B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1975 and did his M.S. from Syracuse University, New York in 1977 before obtaining an MBA with Distinction from Northwestern University, Chicago in 1981.nnAvi Nash joined Goldman Sachs, one of the world’s largest and most prestigious investment banks, in 1987 and become its Vice President in 1989, Managing Director in 1996, and elected as a Partner of the firm in 1998. He is Head of the firm’s Global Chemical Industry effort as well as Head of the Basic Materials (metals, paper, chemicals) effort in the Americas. He is active in mentoring the next generation of professionals.

Ashank Desai, is Chairman & MD of Mastek Limited, a Software Services Company, with over 1100 employees, and 6 subsidiaries in US, Europe & Asia and a turnover of around 265 Crores. Founded 20 years ago; Mastek went public in 1992 and also became the first company in India to introduce ESOP to its employees.nnA Bombay University rank holder in B.E. (Mech.) in 1972, he received his M.Tech (Mech.) from IIT, Bombay in 1974. After a 3-year stint as Design Engineer in Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co., Ashank completed his PGDBM from IIM, Ahmedabad in 1979.nnAshank has helped Mastek reach new frontiers of success and gain industry respect, year after year. His leadership role has extended to developing the export markets in Europe and the Asia Pacific for Mastek. PR and HRD are other important areas where he has established innovative practises.

Prof. Chaitan Khosla has achieved a position of eminence in the frontier areas of chemistry and biosciences.nnAfter graduating from IIT Bombay with a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, he obtained a Ph.D from the California Institute of Technology in 1990. In 1992 he joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Stanford University, where he is Professor Department of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry (by courtesy) at present.

Ravi Venkatesan is credited with imparting a new vision, dynamism and investor – savviness to Cummins India Ltd.nnCummins India Ltd, a 51% subsidiary of Cummins Engg Company, USA (CECO), is India’s largest manufacturer of diesel engines catering to the non-automotive segment with market share in excess of 65%.

Dr R.K.Bhandari is an acknowledged authority in the area of Natural Disaster Mitigation and Management, with pioneering contribution in the discipline of geotechnical engineering. The main thrust of his work continues to be on sustainable development of Hilly Regions including the State of Uttaranchal where he spent more than a decade.Dr Bhandari’s qualifications include a B.E., Rajasthan, M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering, IIT Bombay, D.I.C, Imperial College, and PhD in Engineering, University of London.nnDr. Bhanadari has served with distinction, earlier, with the Central Road Research Institute, Central Building Research Institute, as visiting faculty with University of Wollongong, Australia and the UN Centre for Human Settlements, and CSIR.

Dr. Subramanian S. Iyer is acknowledged by his peers, as an engineer par excellence, responsible for some of the most outstanding innovations in semiconductor technology in the last two decades.nnHe has had a long and productive career at IBM, where he is currently Distinguished Engineer. He joined IBM at Yorktown Heights, NY, in 1981, after completing his Ph.D at UCLA. He has continued at IBM ever since, except for a three year stint to found a start-up company.

Mr. Sanjai Kohli received his B.Tech. in Aeronautical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1979 and MS in Systems Science from Washington University in 1981.nn nn 

Mr. Jitendra Saxena received his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1966.  Later, he obtained MS from Michigan State University (1968) and earned an MBA from Boston University (1973).nn nn
