IIT Bombay was a Knowledge Partner in the CSR Conclave titled “CSR Conclave: Transforming Mira Bhayandar@2047,” held in Mira Road.
The conclave, hosted by the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC), brought together industry leaders, experts, and researchers to discuss vital topics and collaborative solutions for the region’s development. The event was supported by NITI Aayog, Maharashtra State Innovation Society, and the Government of Maharashtra’s Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Department.
Prof. Ravi Gudi, Dean ACR, from IIT Bombay, was a key speaker at the event and offered critical insights into Education, Healthcare, and Sustainability. Other attendees included Ms. Nidhi Chibber, IAS, Advisor Niti Aayog, and Mr. Sanjay Shripatrao Katkar, Commissioner MBMC.
Focusing on Waste Management, Environment Sustainability, and Women’s Empowerment, the conclave underscored MBMC’s commitment to aligning with the national vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and addressing community needs.
