Living Legacy Programme

A journey that transcends
time.

By supporting IIT Bombay through your will, trust, estate plan, or other planned giving options, you help carry forward a legacy of excellence, scholarship, and progress.

YOUR VISION, CARRIED FORWARD

A Living Legacy is a deeply personal expression of gratitude and belief -

Belief in the transformative power of education, research and innovation, expanding opportunity and IIT Bombay's enduring role in shaping thinkers, innovators and nation-builders.

Known globally as bequests or planned giving, the IIT Bombay Living Legacy Programme enables you to designate IIT Bombay and/or the IIT Bombay Heritage Foundation (IITBHF For US donors) as a beneficiary in your will, trust, estate plan, and more. It is also designed to maximise the impact of your legacy.

Why it Matters

IIT Bombay is where India's brightest minds are nurtured, and its most defining ideas take shape. It drives critical research, launches enterprises of global consequence, and advances urgent frontiers like climate science, artificial intelligence, and public health, to name a few. This work is purposeful, pressing, and scaling towards boundless impact. Your legacy ensures the research continues, the questions keep being asked, and the breakthroughs the world needs are never held back.
